Upload to SFTP
We recommend using FileZilla Client to upload files via SFTP. There are several FTP clients available, but we use FileZilla since it is free and reliable. It can be downloaded from Filezilla.

Upload to FTP
An FTP program/client is software that allows you to transfer files from your computer to another computer. Files are sent and retrieved via the Internet.
Transfer via FTP
If you deliver article information in text format, the file specification for the intended level must be followed.
If you use Finfo’s Excel templates, first save the completed template and then create a semicolon-separated text file with Finfo’s field headers by selecting “Save As” and choosing the format CSV (comma-separated) or SKV (semicolon-separated).
NOTE! A CSV file must never be opened before it is transferred, as numeric values may be converted into an incorrect format.

Article File
Once the file has been transferred, an automatic validation will be carried out by Finfo. A validation report will be sent to the person registered as your company’s contact person for Finfo. If the file is rejected, the errors must be corrected and the file resubmitted.
For article files, only the most recently received file per day is saved. This allows you to correct any remarks on the same day and resubmit the file until it is approved by the system. A file with remarks or a fully approved file will, according to agreement, be processed by Finfo within 10 working days. If the file contains a large number of new articles, the processing time may be up to 20 working days.
As it is not possible to include a message with the article file, it is important that the file always contains all articles.
Customer-Specific Price File
Customer-specific price files are validated only by Finfo’s system and are distributed in the evening/night to the recipient once approved by the system. In the customer-specific file, it is possible to send changes only.
