An article can have several statuses during its lifecycle, and some of them may apply at the same time.
An article receives the status New when it does not previously exist in the database. A new article is always a draft and can be deleted. New articles always require manual review before they can be published.
A Draft is created when a Published article is modified. It is possible to compare a draft with its published data by clicking the Show published data button in the article view. Drafts can be deleted without affecting the published data.
A Published article shows how the article is currently received by recipients. A published article cannot be deleted.
When an article has no errors, it can be published. During the beta testing phase, all articles will be sent for manual review to ensure that no errors are missed in the portal. In the long term, articles that do not require manual review will be updated immediately.
When an article has no errors but changes have been made to fields that require manual review, the article is sent to an operator who reviews the information. All new articles are sent for manual review.
