Information and description
A display article consists of several items showcased in a display stand. The display article comprises a display (usually cardboard) where the displayed items are the ones sold.
A bundled article is a product sold under a unique article number with its own GTIN, where the included parts are packaged separately, for example a washbasin, a vanity unit, and a mixer tap packed in different cartons.
Function
To describe the items included in a display stand, or to describe a bundled article, follow the instructions below. This allows the receiving business system to register the included items and thereby ensure sales are recorded against the correct article number.
Display article
-
The display article is registered with its own article number and GTIN.
-
The primary Package unit must be PAC.
-
The contents of the display article are specified as 1 ODE or 1 SET for mixed contents, or as a quantity of ST, FL, KRT, etc., if multiple identical items are included in the display.
-
Article class 07 – Display article/bundled article is entered in field KNARTKL.
-
All included items must be registered with Finfo with their own article numbers and GTIN.
-
These must be described in a separate document: Content specification. An exception applies if the display article is registered as secondary; in that case, the primary shows the contents. Register a display article as secondary only if no other packaging options exist.
-
Complete the content specification and link it to Finfo according to the Linked information procedure.
