Information and Description
The function “Linked Information” is designed to connect a product with externally stored digital documents and images. The linking works on the principle that each document or image has a code defining what type of file it is, and this code is connected to the address where the file is stored. The documents or images are linked to the relevant article number. Customers can then access and download images to their systems or print documents directly via these links.
Linked Information streamlines administration and increases accessibility to complementary product information. The quality assurance process includes regular checks of all links for each product.

Responsibilities
Supplier
The supplier specifies a URL address for each link related to a product and submits it to Finfo according to the instructions.
Finfo
Finfo stores the link in the Länktorget system.
Receiver
The customer receives a code in the article file indicating that a link exists for that article. The customer’s business system reads this code, connects to Länktorget, and displays the result on the user’s screen, for example, during order processing or in a webshop solution.
