Information and description
The purpose of this procedure is to enable the replacement or correction of the primary packaging unit when there is a need to clarify or correct the information.
A unit can be changed as long as the actual content of the packaging remains unchanged and the GTIN does not need to be updated. This means that only the way the unit is expressed is adjusted, while the product itself and its identification remain the same.
The unit may be changed if the content is the same and the GTIN remains unchanged.
