Information and description
An FTP program/client is a tool used to transfer files from your computer to another system. You can send and retrieve files over the Internet using FTP.
If you deliver article information in text format, the file description for the relevant level must be followed. If you use Finfo’s Excel templates, first save the completed template, then create a semicolon-separated text file with Finfo’s field headers by choosing “Save as” in either CSV (comma-separated) or SKV (semicolon-separated) format.
Note! A CSV file must never be opened before transfer, as numeric values may otherwise be formatted incorrectly.
Log in via an FTP program. There are free programs available for download online if you do not already use one.
Address: ftp://ftp.logiq.no
Username and password are provided by Finfo: info@finfo.se.
Files should be uploaded to the folder: “supp2finfo”.
Article file
Once the file is uploaded, an automatic validation will be performed by Finfo. A report from the validation will be sent to the contact person registered with Finfo for your company.
If the file is rejected, the errors must be corrected and the file resubmitted.
For article files, only the last file received per day is saved. This allows you to correct any issues and resend the file the same day until it is approved by the system. A file with comments or a fully approved file will, according to agreement, be processed by Finfo within 10 working days. If the file contains a large number of new articles, processing may take up to 20 working days.
As there is no way to include messages with the article file, it is important that it always contains all articles.
Customer-specific price file
Customer-specific price files are validated only by Finfo’s system and distributed to the recipient during the evening/night once approved. In the customer-specific file, it is possible to send only the changes.
