Information and Description
During the change, the Finfo number will remain linked to the article (unless additional changes are made that require a new GTIN). Read more about GTIN rules for article number changes.
Date format: YYYYMMDD.
Responsibilities
Supplier
Specifies the date of the article number change.
Finfo
Verifies that the date is in the correct format and that the supplier’s previous article number is specified.
Recipient
Registers the date as the discontinuation date for the old article number specified in the supplier’s previous article number.
