Field codes IN KNFORBDAT | OUT WIFORBDAT | API discontinuationDate | Date format YYYYMMDD
Definition
This field specifies the date from which the item may no longer be sold to the end customer.
Explanation
Here you specify the date when a sales prohibition comes into effect. From this date onwards, the item must be removed from the trade assortment and may no longer be displayed or sold to end customers.
The date may apply to both a permanent and a temporary sales stop. If the stop is temporary, the date is removed once the prohibition ends, and the item can then be handled as normal again.
If the stop is permanent, the item should also be marked as discontinued to clearly indicate that it is being phased out and should no longer remain in the active assortment. More information is available in the section Instructions for Discontinued Items.
