When an article is discontinued and replaced by a new one, the new article number is entered here.
Information and Description
The replacement article number is mandatory if you have indicated that the article will be discontinued and replaced with an equivalent (discontinuation code 2) or discontinued and replaced with an identical equivalent (discontinuation code 5).

Supplier
Entered by the supplier.
Finfo
Verifies that the article number follows the standard, that it has not been previously used by the supplier, and that the replacement article number exists in Finfo.
Recipient
The replacement article number is used by the recipient to identify the new article that replaces the old one.
