Price per

Field codes IN KNPRPR | OUT WIPRPR | API pricePer

Definition

This field specifies the quantity that the price applies to

Explanation

Here you indicate whether the price applies per 1, 100, or 1,000 pieces. This information is used so that recipients can interpret the price correctly.

If the price applies per piece, the field must always be set to 1.

If the unit is 100, then price per = 100 (ENH = HST means PRPR = 100).
If the unit is 1000, then price per = 1000 (ENH = TST means PRPR = 1000).
For all other units, price per = 1 (ENH means PRPR = 1).

By specifying the correct quantity, errors in price calculation and price presentation are avoided.
