The date of the article number change is entered in the field Date of Article Number Change, and the previous article number is entered in Previous Article Number.
When you change an article number without making any other data changes, the Finfo number can remain linked to the article.

Enters the old article number in the Previous Article Number field. The new article number is entered in the Article Number field.
Finfo
Verifies that the Date of Article Number Change is provided and that no other data on the article has been modified.
Recipient
Registers the article number in Previous Article Number as discontinued and replaces it with the new article number.
